The best players from last year's 8th grade class that we witnessed were Zach Hafen and Jerry Harville!  Davion Pearson has absolutely set the tone for this year, as he's gotten off to the quickest start by any in the freshman class.  He's put up double figures in just about every game that he's played in so far for Liberty.  Harville has been on the varsity from day one over at Foothill, and has logged a few starts.  John Loyd has worked his way up to varsity from JV over at Gorman, and is starting to really help the varsity out, as has Turner.  Perry and Morgan are on D.P. and P.V.'s JV teams and are playing well.  But the trio of Wroten, McCall, and Henry are playing as good as any in the freshman class, albeit on the freshman level at Cheyenne.  Even though you don't see Wroten and McCall's name littered throughout this list, make no mistake about it, they are two of the better players in this class.  This is why they are on the "best ball skills" list...which is most important.  They ran through the competition at the Cowboy Classic freshman tourney, and did so without a healthy Wroten.
